Jim was drawn to the blues from an early age, finding his own musical voice after taking up the harmonica as a teenager.  With influences such as Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, James Cotton, Brendan Power, Taj Mahal and Mark Graham among others, Jim’s decades long musical journey has found him expanding to styles beyond the blues, his harmonica bringing a dynamic and expressive quality to McMule's tunes, creating a unique sonic signature.
